Offered for sale is this incredible Hodgson 999F05 AMA bike.

Stamped chassis number: ZDMH401AA4B012XXX

The bike comes with a letter of authentication from the chief mechanic in the Parts Unlimited team in 2006.
We also have his full set of original track notes for the season.

It was originally James Toseland’s No.1 bike during the 2005 WSBK championship.
This has been confirmed James Toseland's chief mechanic in 2005.  And also Toseland’s crew chief in 2005 who was also crew chief in the AMA Parts Unlimited team 2006.

When Toseland’s 2005 season finished the bike was sent to Feel Racing and changed to AMA spec and then sent out to the US for Neil Hodgson.

We have a copy of the track notes from the December ’05 tyre tests at Daytona which show that the bike that Hodgson rode was Toseland’s No.1 bike.

We also have an email from Ducati Corse confirming that the chassis number shows on their system as “AMA 2005, built in November 2005”.

After the bike went back to Ducati at the end of the 2006 AMA season it was sold to the Sterilgarda race team in Italy and was raced by Marco Borciani in the Italian CIV championship.

It was later sold to an Italian businessman, later on it received a complete restoration back to Hodgson spec.
